Build a practice list you will actually use

Practice · September 20, 2026 · 3 min

A short list with a clear next move beats a giant folder of videos you never reopen.

Keep three kinds of trick

Save one trick you are learning now, one that feels just beyond you, and one familiar trick you want to make smoother. That mix gives every practice session an easy place to start.

Name the list by intent

“Want to learn” is fine. “Slack for October” is better. A useful name tells you why the videos are together and when the list has done its job.

Remove finished work

A playlist is a workbench, not a museum. When a trick becomes automatic, move on. The skill stays in your hands even when the link leaves the list.
